We are a research-oriented consultancy focusing on sustainable solutions to the great challenges of our time.

We provide multidisciplinary analyses, evaluations, technical advice, capacity development and operational support for the benefit of governments, financial sector institutions, private sector companies, international development organisations, and NGOs. Our value added is to combine economic, social, environmental, technological, business and political analysis and build bridges between scientific research, innovation, policy and development practice.

Future Horizons is based in Oslo, Norway, and works with a network of associated experts from around the world. We bring together multidisciplinary teams to address practical development challenges and provide solutions to public and private sector organisations. Our team has several decades of combined experience from more than 40 countries in five continents. We have provided research, advisory and operational support to clients such as the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the OECD, United Nations agencies, the European Commission, the African Union, national and local governments, international NGOs, financial sector institutions, and private sector companies.
