Contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework in Angola

In 2023, Knut was contracted by the United Nations (UN) in Angola, to assist in the development of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF). This is a framework for the UN’s commitment to supporting Angola in addressing key development priorities and challenges for the country on behalf of all the UN agencies with activities in Angola. The UNSDCF outlines the UN’s contributions towards achieving the SDGs in an integrated manner and is a tool for accountability and cooperation between the UN and the Angolan government.

Knut assisted the UN in developing the overall priorities and outcomes, as well as the results framework, with inputs from a number of both Resident and Non-Resident UN Agencies, as well as the Angolan government. He facilitated a number of consultations, as well as presentation of the framework to the Angolan Ministry of Planning and Economy.

The UNSDCF covers the perioo 2024 to 2028.
