Meg is an environment specialist who has worked largely in evaluation for the past 15 years, specializing in climate change adaptation. She has supported environmental project and program M&E design for development partners and government counterparts, has conducted numerous thematic, formative, and summative evaluations at various scales in over a dozen countries, with additional experience through remote support and desk review work. She also recently helped develop a piloted approach to ex-post evaluation of small-scale adaptation interventions.

Among others, Meg has held consulting positions within the UN system (UNDP, UNEP), the World Bank Group (Adaptation Fund, Global Environment Facility, Climate Investment Funds), regional banks (ADB, CDB) and bilateral development agencies (GIZ, AFD), as well as NGOs (World Resources Institute, Conservation International). She has core aptitude with results-based management and performance measurement frameworks, as well as integrating sustainable development goals and climate change into policies and practices.

Meg is especially interested in participatory and bottom-up M&E tools and approaches, and evaluative methodologies that break away from project cycle dominated and financial accountability centered practices, toward more interdisciplinary, learning and utilisation-focused norms.
